Bridlework Repairs

Many riders have encountered the problem where they try to buy a bridle for their horse but find that one size is too small but the next size up is too big. Nothing for it but to buy a made to measure bridle; or is it?
It is often cheaper, a lot cheaper to buy the bridle "off the peg" and have it shortened and adjusted to fit. The use of a Dutch Gag bit usually requires cheek pieces a lot shorter than the standard length cheeks which come with most bridles, even expensive ones.
I do a lot of alterations to new and used bridlework. I use only the best quality leather and other materials for all alterations and repairs.
Over time some parts of your bridlework wear out. I put new rubber grips on reins, replace worn billet ends, replace broken hook studs and missing keepers, and much, much more.
